To continue his generous, giving spirit. To honor his passion for life and his joy in encouraging and celebrating every moment life had to offer, all of which form the inspiration for the mission. To help make it possible for deserving graduating seniors who exhibit the character and excellence that Irvyng personified to pursue their goals. To offer scholarships to seniors from who display academic excellence, strong citizenship and character, and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society. To give back by creating a sustainable non-profit organization that benefits young members of this great community.

Here at Irvyng Urquijo Memorial Scholarship, we are driven by a single goal; to make Irvyng's spirit live on. He was a man of courage, love, patience, understand, and passion for life. A giving sole that always wanted other to follow their dreams no matter how crazy. That is why we strive to provide high school seniors with a monetary gift and lasting encouragement to chase the dreams they have for themselves. We strive to build relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

Making A Difference
Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
With this tournament, our goal is to promote fun, community, and raise funds. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and take great pride in this event, and it is growing in popularity and size each year!
Rodeo Concession
With Irvyng's passions always in mind, we strive to find ways to raise money with his biggest loves at the forefront. Rodeo was his number one passion. Every year at Irvyng's hometown rodeo, Zayra Urquijo (Mom) combines that passion with his love for her cooking. For anyone looking for some good eating and a way to contribute to this fund, this is the place to do it!
